The settlement was originally a castle used to control the eastern part of Cinigiano, at the foot of the Poggio all’Olmo Nature Reserve it developed in the Middle Ages, passing from hand to hand among the most important families in the area. At the beginning of the twentieth century it was largely restructured in a neo-medieval style and in recent years it had several maintenance interventions such as the replacement of the fixtures with the Armonia aluminum frames which, thanks to the sober style, are the ideal solutions to integrate with the particular architectural context without altering its image.
