UP technology and beyond
to the innovative thermal cutting technology
of UP systems, to obtain a frame with Uf =1 W/m2K,
three new features have been added:
PIR SFG
Composite thermal insulation system in rigid expanded polyurethane, with ends covered with a layer of Saturated Fiber Glass, which stabilizes and makes the product more resistant to high temperatures, without affecting the high thermal insulation performance. The PIR SFG inserts applied to the UP polyamide (low density PA 6.6 GF25) allow the thermal performance of the window system to be maximized.
EXPANDED EPDM
Central gasket entirely in closed-cell synthetic rubber, a material with excellent resistance to heat, atmospheric agents, ultraviolet radiation and ageing. Furthermore, the high resistance to permanent deformation makes expanded EPDM the perfect material to guarantee the airtightness of the window.
EXPANDED PE
64mm underglass gasket in extruded expanded polyethylene. Expanded PE is an excellent thermal and acoustic insulator, it is characterized by a closed cell structure which also makes it waterproof, resilient and resistant to mold and bacteria. These characteristics, combined with its complete recyclability, make it an excellent insulator.
