A large garden welcomes people behind metal gates. On the courtyard there are apartments and offices, but the surprise awaits on the roof: a colony of “urban villas” with large terraces framing the city center. The great quality of the redevelopment intervention of the building has allowed to keep the original structure intact and to “lighten” its imposing presence thanks to the careful use of colors and materials. The intervention used innovative technical solutions such as the use of groundwater to cool the building during the summer, ventilated walls with Alucobond cladding, large curtain walls made with the Sirio system and thermal break doors and Armonia fixtures to ensure thermal and acoustic insulation of the spaces inside the building.
