The Castle, dating back to the 12th century, was renovated in first place for cultural reasons and most of all to improve the reputation of the site; the renovation included the replacement of all the windows and doors in the building with Armonia thermal-cut aluminum frames. The fixtures chosen are dark in color and integrate perfectly with the architectural context. The structure currently houses the museum “The memory of the Mediterranean”, which includes the museums of water and mills, of productive activities, the archaeological museum and the maritime activities museum.
